The Grass 'Leather Leaf Sedge', Carex buchananii, is an upright grass and a native of New Zealand. This variety prefers moist, fast-draining, rocky soil. The finely textured copper foliage contrasts vividly with dark green, blue, and silver plants. Equally at home in containers and rock gardens.
